Update: adding more photos for hot-pot posts

I hope you enjoyed all this festival food, and the long posts about hot-pot -- have to admit that we do eat a lot, no? :)))
Ok, my super supportive husband has just pointed out that there are not enough photos to demonstrate how hot pot is presented on the dining table. So here I inserted a few more photos, if you are interested.

1) What a hot-pot meal really looks like, the hot-pot induction cooker

2) A picture of 'mandarin duck' hot-pot

3) A photo of individual small hot-pot

Also, forgot to mention, when having hot-pot, it is suggested to have vegetable leaves first, then move on to the other things, leave meat to the end. This is because of the bacteria in the meat might influence the other food. However, people normally just have whatever things they like to have. So it is not a super strict rule.

Another thing is that normally people would like to have cold drinks to accompany hot-pot, especially cold beer, or fizzy drinks. However, you do need to be careful and not have your drink too cold while having the hot-pot--too hot at the same time. It does no good for your stomach. :)

Ok, it ends for sure. And seeing these photos of hot-pot --- cannot help -- tonight dinner is hot-pot! Ha... Have a good evening!!!
